The STEAMhouse Community

A collaborative collective of diverse businesses, creatives, academics and specialists, working together to generate new STEAM thinking and unique and impactful solutions.

Pioneers of STEAM thinking and collaborative solutions

The STEAMhouse Community has been growing from strength to strength since the launch our initial STEAMhouse Funded Programme in 2018, yet our STEAM thinking and collaborative support activities began much earlier than this. Over the years, our Community has developed into an active collective of innovators, inventors, strategists, practitioners, designers, makers, experts, business leaders, visionaries, boundary pushers and risk takers.

Our Community hosts collaborative activities that bring together skills, knowledge and thinking from across the five STEAM disciplines* with expertise and opportunities from entrepreneurs and leaders of start-up, micro, small, midsized and large businesses, and public and third sectors.

We don’t just guide, we listen, share, encourage and experiment. Our community works collaboratively to explore new possibilities, and we build on that potential together, developing new STEAM thinking to achieve mutually beneficial and impactful solutions for business and societal challenges.

Our new home, designed with collaboration in mind

Our community, activities, solutions and successes have developed tenfold since our inception. So much so, we are now creating a bigger and better, purpose-built collaborative centre in the heart of Birmingham, in which to house our Community and base our STEAM thinking and business support activities.

The STEAMhouse Building, due to open early 2022, offers c. 100,000 square feet of state of the art and accessible facilities, tools and spaces to enable greater Community collaborations, and to help your business or organisation achieve its goals.
